When Ichigo Shimbun (or as you may know it - Strawberry News!) was first published in April 1975, it was 12 pages long and was published twice a month, costing 100 yen per issue! It started with a proposal from the Strawberry King to create a newspaper that would convey his wish for everyone in the world to get along and cherish compassion. 

In honor of the 50th anniversary, a strawberry-themed collection was created to commemorate the lasting relationship with our Ichigo Mates (readers of the Ichigo Shimbun!). Enjoy and collect plush, mascots, and small accessories from this delightfully sweet series.
