När Ichigo Shimbun (eller som du kanske känner den - Strawberry News!) först publicerades i april 1975, var den 12 sidor lång och gavs ut två gånger i månaden, med ett pris på 100 yen per nummer! Det hela började med ett förslag från Jordgubbskungen om att skapa en tidning som skulle förmedla hans önskan om att alla i världen ska komma överens och värna om medkänsla.

För att hedra 50-årsjubileet har en jordgubbstematiserad kollektion skapats för att fira det bestående förhållandet med våra Ichigo Mates (läsare av Ichigo Shimbun!). Njut av och samla på gosedjur, maskotar och små accessoarer från denna förtjusande söta serie.

Bought this for my shelf and the strawberry print on her bow is way cuter in person than in the photos, plus the plush is perfectly squishy without being flimsy. Even the little newspaper motif on her belly feels like a proper nod to the 1975 era it's celebrating.
